I want to import source code on Alveole¶

- I want to import source code on Alveole
- A) To extract source files from sourceforge
- 1 - From the project page on sourceforge.net, go to the Develop tab of the project.
- 2 - Check what version manager is used for the project: Concurrent Versions System (CVS) or Subversion (SVN)
- 3 - At the command line, move to the directory where the project files must be downloaded. Copy instruction for extracting the gray area of the sourceforge page (in the example svn co https://notepad-plus.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/notepad-plus notepad-plus), paste it to the command line and run:
- B) To import the source code in the forge of AI2L
- 1 - Go to the site of the forge (http://www.alveole.coop/) and connect to it. Get the desired project (a director of Alveole must have previously created and you have the proper rights granted.)
- 2 - In the Projects page, select the project where pay files.
- 3 - Check the URL to use to make files by checking the configuration of the project (the project manager may also communicate directly with the URL, which is preferable). Generally, only SVN is supported by the forge.
- 4 - Uploading local files to forge (eg with Tortoise SVN)
- 5-To confirm the payment files, access the repository and view the tree
A) To extract source files from sourceforge¶
1 - From the project page on sourceforge.net, go to the Develop tab of the project.¶
2 - Check what version manager is used for the project: Concurrent Versions System (CVS) or Subversion (SVN)¶
The process is essentially the same for CVS and SVN, provided that the appropriate version manager is installed on the workstation.
To install the SVN client: http://subversion.apache.org/
To use SVN: http://svnbook.red-bean.com/
To install the CVS client: http://www.nongnu.org/cvs/
To use CVS http://ximbiot.com/cvs/manual/
For the operation to be successful, the client executable (or svn.exe cvs.exe) in the path (path). It is also possible to use a graphical client, like Tortoise (for CVS or SVN http://www.tortoisecvs.org/: http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/)

The URL to access the repository of this project would http://ai2l.org/svn/projettest (if there was a username and password, it would http://login:password@ i2l.org/ svn/TestProject)
We will use the URL with the client:
- The command line (retail orders in the online manual to http://svnbook.red-bean.com/);
- Integrated file system like Tortoise SVN (client available http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/, manual online http://tortoisesvn.net/support);
- Integrated development environment that supports SVN as Eclipse, IDEA, NetBeans and many others. The particular configuration of SVN contains specificities of each environment.
4 - Uploading local files to forge (eg with Tortoise SVN)¶
Open Repo Browser
Enter the URL of the project to establish the connection and select the directory in which to transfer the files.
Create a directory if necessary, then select the files to make using the context menu.
5-To confirm the payment files, access the repository and view the tree¶
